WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING TREATMENT

The first part of the treatment involves body acupuncture to help balance and revitalise the health of the body from within. Needles will be inserted into various points on the arms, legs and body. It is advisable to wear loose, comfortable clothing for the treatment. After further inspection needles are then inserted into the facial areas, especially areas that need addressing. Overall this is quite a nice relaxing experience and you should feel quite relaxed during treatment.
After all the needles are removed I will use a Jade roller to smooth over the face using gentle strokes and / or a Gua Sha tool which is used with oils and involves scraping the skin on the face and neck in upward strokes to relax tensions in the muscles of the face and boost blood circulation. This is followed by a short relaxing facial massage.

HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED?

Most people benefit from several sessions or a full course of ten sessions to really feel and see the difference. A single session of Cosmetic Acupuncture can also be beneficial if you have a special event coming up, to give an extra glow and freshen up your complexion. This can be discussed at your consultation.

WHO CAN HAVE FACIAL COSMETIC ACUPUNCTURE?

Almost anyone can benefit from Cosmetic Acupuncture however there are contra indications for people with the following conditions

  • heart disorders

  • uncontrolled high blood pressure

  • diabetes

  • pregnancy

  • epilepsy seizures

  • acute outbreak of ruptured, bleeding or inflamed skin conditions

  • migraine headaches

  • blood thinner medication

£75 per single session includes full consultation, full body acupuncture and facial enhancement treatment.
